I know you are just going to hide this but I'm going on a quest to tell as many traders as I can the following: People will just stop buying keys for metal if it grows. Sure pro traders are going to keep bagging profit on this but their profit comes from others who take time finding items and eventually gather enough metal to buy a key off somebody, but if the price of the key increases so does the time the buyer takes to gather the metal and maybe eventually even give up or craft his own hat. Keys should be for unboxing and not for currency, metal will always be the best currency and besides 99% of the time you unbox you will either get a strange that already exists or a silly hat you dont like anyway. If you join the economy you only make it better for us, because then you will either have to raise your price to get profit while barely anybody buys anything or lower the price and lose profit.

i am sorry to dissapoint you but metall comes from idle farms that generate 1000 ref per week!! but thats a very large discussion!! keys are not going to stay this high if valve throw ref in the steam market !! i know that valve knows that too so i gues eventually they will add it in the market app to ballance the overproduced ref that farms generates daily !! its either that or they will make ref not tradable and only for crafting !!
i really support the idea of refs retirement!!we dont need it as long as we have the keys and we can craft 2 keys for a hat so whats the point of having the ref!!its all about eficiency!the alternative on that is valve to make ref purchasable from in store for a fix priced this way noone can play with keys prices and valve wins in a glance! and thats in valves plan for the next update !i never was wrong i even see the vintages input in market 2 weeks ago!! and much more !! next will be the unusual parts!yes!yes!yes!!
